Thompson Hill is fortunate to have a vigilant group of people who recognize the importance of their local heritage. They have supported its preservation through a special zoning ordinance and historic district and scenic road legislation. The only concern is that such legislation might be too restrictive to promote the reuse of such properties as the vacant building to the south of the Congregational Church.
